New Year’s Concert 2027 in Busan, Republic of Korea

We the organisers, SuiKo GmbH, CH 9477 Truebbach, www.suiko.info, take pleasure in informing you of the following:

SuiKo GmbH is a Swiss company set up by Ms. Kim Kyung Myung, MA and Violinist. Her assistant and co-project manager is Daniel A. Kellerhals, honorary president of EOFed. The local art and culture organisation Busan Mecenat has asked us to organise a New Year’s Concert in 2027 in Busan, Republic of Korea. www.bmecenat.kr, www.busan.com

With the agreement of the Board of EOFed we invite musicians from EOFed members to join colleagues from Busan to form a project orchestra for that performance. The New Year’s Concert will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2027, 19:30 o’clock at the Busan Concert Hall (2’000 seats)

A 2nd concert with the same program will be performed in the Busan area on January 8 or 9; a 3rd performance is planned in Seoul around January 12, 2027. The concert journey will therefore take place in the period from January 3 to January 15, 2027, and be scheduled as follows (subject to modifications):

- January 3: All participants have arrived in Busan

- January 4-7: Rehearsals, Busan

- January 7: 1st Concert, Busan

- January 8/9/10: 2nd Concert, Busan area

- January 11: Transfer to Seoul

- January 12/13 3rd Concert, Seoul

Basic organisational details known as of now (subject to modifications):

- The registration is to be downloaded art www.sujko.info

- Minimum age for participants 18 years

- Registration fee € 150.00 per person/musician

- Travel costs at the charge of each participant, recommendation: Return ticket Europe-Seoul, single ticket Seoul-Busan - Travel organisation at the discretion of the participant

- Accommodation and all meals organised and paid for by organisers

- Inland transfers In Busan and to Seoul organised and paid for by organisers

- Large instruments, Vc, Cb, timp, etc can be rented in Busan and Seoul

- Insurance, all-inclusive full responsibility by participants

- Registration and fee payment no later than March 31, 2026

The musical program will be defined in cooperation by Mecenat, the organisers and the conductor of the concerts (tbd) and communicated to the participants on the SuiKo home page www.suiko.info latest by January 31, 2026. The parts will be sent as pdf file to the registered participants by June 30, 2026.
